Project Public Health Ready (PPHR) aims to protect the public's health and increase the public health infrastructure by building preparedness capacity and capability by equipping local health departments with sustainable tools to plan, train, and exercise using a continuous improvement model. Since 2005, 158 local health departments (LHDs) have been recognized as meeting all the PPHR requirements. Click on states in blue to view the PPHR-recognized LHDs in that state.
