ASTHO and NACCHO Are Together Again in 2008!

Be part of what promises to be the largest-ever meeting of state and local public health decision makers – the NACCHO-ASTHO 2008 Joint Conference!  This September in Sacramento, California, the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) and the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) will combine forces for our fifth joint conference.

Energy and excitement are definitely mounting for 2008’s premier opportunity to connect and exchange ideas with 1,300 public health leaders from across the country! Becoming the Healthiest Nation in a Healthier World is the thought-provoking and action-oriented theme of ASTHO-NACCHO 2008. The conference promises to be a pivotal and central venue for state and local health officials and their public health partners to examine strategies, share ideas, and plan actions needed to develop and implement an integrated framework for governmental public health designed to help the United States become the healthiest nation in a healthier world.
