Advisory Groups
|
NACCHO's advisory groups are crucial to the association's work and are an important vehicle for member input.
Archived Materials Available Online
Each year, NACCHO holds orientations for advisory group members to provide an overview of the association's work, the purpose and function of the advisory groups, and an opportunity for new members to ask questions. This year's orientations are completed. To view 2008–09 orientation materials, click here.
Volunteer Service on Advisory Groups
NACCHO’s success as the national voice for local health departments is highly dependent on member participation in advisory groups. Each spring, NACCHO recruits volunteers, and we encourage all who are interested in serving to apply. The 2008 call for participants formally closed on Friday, May 24. As in the past, there was a strong response with over 150 applications submitted. The 2009 call for participants will open in early April. Please check back then for details on how to apply.
